Placements as part of the practical semester or specialist work experience placements are always between 5 and 6 months in length. There is no fixed starting date for practical placements. The start of the work experience placement is agreed between the applicant and the specialist department.

Although the main objective of the work experience placement or final assignment is an educational one, you will naturally receive a remuneration during this period.
